Sharkey's 3D Pool is one of the earliest 3D cue-sports games, featuring a
fully-rotating table and variable viewpoint allowing for much more realistic
shot-playing than the traditional top-down game style (although the game can

You start off looking down the table. Closest to you is a dark green line
with a semi-circle in the middle of which is called the 'D', with the cue
ball placed somewhere within. Right down the other end of the table are
the game balls, arranged neatly in a triangle, with the 8 ball (black)
nestling in the middle. The table rotates clockwise and anti-clockwise,
allowing you to change the direction of your shot, it also tilts up and
down, allowing you to change spin strength an type (ie. top or back spin).

Iniziate guardando il tavolo in basso. Vicino a voi c'è la linea verde scura
con un semi circolo nel mezzo e chiamato il 'D', con la palla bianca
piazzata in questa zona.
In basso a destra dall'altro lato del tavolo ci sono le palle del gioco sistemate
a triangolo che l'ottava palla (nera) nel mezo.
Il tavolo può essere ruotato in senso orario e anti-orario permettendoti di
cambiare la direzione del colpo.
E' possibile anche inclinuare il tavolo su e giu il che permette di cambiare la
forza della rotazione.

You play a special agent whose mission is to deliver the CHAOS weapon (Complete
Hostile Alien Obliteration System) to the scientists of a distant planet overrun
by hostile aliens. But things aren't that simple and you'll find yourself making
many trips to other planets before you eventually deliver the weapon. The game
itself is a 3D shoot-'em-up where you must shoot the rapidly approaching alien
ships using a set of crosshairs, before they crash into you and drain your
shields. The graphics are fairly simple but still good, the sound is excellent
(cue the Codemasters trademark sampled speech!) and this game is just
brilliant fun!

With hindsight, it's amazing that people could sell full-price games that were
as bad as this. The only thing to do here is trying to jump with your bike over
double-decker buses (which proudly bear the inscription 'AMSTRAD'). The problem
is that you must start your jump exactly at the right speed, if you don't want
to crash either on the buses or on the landing track.
