You're stranded on an iceberg island somewhere in the Arctic with your
arch enemy. And the year's worst blizzard is headed straight towards you.
There is only one way off the island - in a rocket ship built for one.
In order to launch the rocket and make your escape, you'll first need
to gather the following items: a Punch Card, Gyroscope, Fuel Canister and
Launch Briefcase. Collect these hidden items, by fair means or foul, make
your way to the launch site and leave your enemy behind to battle the arctic
elements.

Description:
Spy vs Spy: Arctic Antics is an Action / Arcade game, for one or two
players, developed by First Star Software and published by Wicked Soft.
Released in the UK in 1989 for several contemporary platforms. There
was a fourth earmarked to be made – Spies in Space – that never was.
You may notice, on winning the game, the rocket from which you Launch
and Escape says this on it's side.
The duo, the White Spy (you) and the deadly Black Spy continue their
battle. This time, the scrap takes place in the frozen Arctic, the
objective: Find the essential components of a brand new rocket before
you freeze to death! And more importantly, before your opponent -- the
deadly Black Spy -- escapes his own fate or completes the mission
instead!
The object of the game is to find and collect all three objects for
the new spy rocket ship (A computer card, a camera and a small
satellite) in the briefcase, all of which are hidden in the snowdrifts
dotted around the map. You need to be holding the briefcase once you
have the objects to place them in it and will drop it if you fall foul
to any traps or get snowballed. As you can only hold one thing at a
time, laying traps around your hidden (or left oh-so-obviously items)
is a good strategy. Just remember where you left everything, else
you'll be falling into your own lure!

Spy who loved me
Hardware: C64
Visualizza
Titolo originale:Spy Who Loved Me
Year: 1990 Domark
Genre: Shooter - Vertical
Lang: English
Description:
This is another James Bond game inspired with the movie of the same name.
At first, game plays much like Spy Hunter . However, as you progress through the
game you will see that this game is much more advanced.
Game has solid graphics and James Bond theme that is playing all
the time. There are various vehicles and obstacles on your way. You
don't have to stay on the road, but driving off the road will reduce
your energy. However, driving into a tree, house or into the water is
fatal for you.
Your only weapons are small black bullets that are not very
effective, so you have to use them a lot and slow down to get other
vehicles in front of you. You are not swarmed with enemies like in Spy
Hunter or Action Fighter and enemies are pre-ordered.
Collision with enemies is much more dangerous than their fire. Along the way you
can pick up some yellow boxes that are actually the money.
Game has some interesting stuff. There are civilians on the road that
will run away. If you run them over, you get negative points. Also,
there are jumping ramps that you can use, but you may jump over the
road into the water too soon or simply turn over your car and loose a
life. Also you don't have to enter Q Truck and it will drive beside
you. You can use this to enter the truck when the crossroad is near,
since loosing a life will leave you with no upgrades you just bought.
However, Q Truck may get in your way, even hit you back. Game is not
easy, especially since loosing the life will get you back at the start
of the level.

Genre: Arcade - Driving
Lang: English

Description:
Both the British and the Russians have had some of their submarines stolen by
Karl Stromberg. The British have sent out James Bond to recapture their sub,
while the Russians have sent the attractive Anya Amasova. The last of the five
James Bond games to be released on the CPC has five levels taking place on both
land and sea, and all of them involve steering your car or boat and avoiding the
scenery (you can try shooting the enemies, but it does little good). You have to
collect tokens in the first three levels to buy the equipment to go to the next
level. All the levels see you doing the same thing each time, and there's very
little variety.
