Version: Commercial, ST, mouse

Description:

A licensed version of a British TV game show from the late 1980s.

The game features 3 players, all either human or computer. Each chooses a
category of questions out of 12 on offer - some are for a single sport
(such as soccer or cricket) while others a more general (such as Indoor Sport
and Pot Luck).

Four of the seven rounds involve each player being asked a question, which
could be from one of the 3 selected categories, or it could be general sport.
A die is rolled, and the colour of its final position on the board indicates
the type of question.

Year: 1991 Virgin Games
Genre: brain - Logical Game
Lang: English
Disks: 1
version: Commercial, ST, mouse

description:

A puzzle game loosely featuring licensing from the 7Up soft drink. The gameplay
involves up to 4 players, which can be either human or computer, each taking on
spots of a particular colour. Starting from opposite corners, they take it in
turns to move, either by 'reproducing' one of their spots to form another one
in an adjacent square, or by making a jump, losing the square you did have but
taking one two spaces away.

Year: 1990 Virgin Mastertronic
Genre: Brain - Puzzle

description:

Not to be confused with Cool Spot, which is another computer game
that features the past icon for the Seven Up soft drink, Spot is a
simple board game that is perfect for those times when you have a few
minutes to kill and don’t want to get into anything to heavy.  That is
not to say that this game won’t keep your interest for much longer if
you really want to master it.  On the surface Spot looks to play
similar to the board game Othello.  While the main objective is the
same (finishing with more squares occupied by your color than that of
the opponent) the rules of the game are different.

To play spot you are allowed to move one of your color pieces either
one or two squares in any direction (or combination of directions) to
an unoccupied square.  Any occupied squares touching the newly occupied
square are transformed into the color of the piece that was just moved
there.  If a player chooses to move his piece only one square, instead
of two, his piece divides and occupies both the originating and
destination square after the move.  However, if the player moves his
piece two squares then the square where he moved from is left vacant.
A vacancy like that invites the opponent to move a piece there (if he
has an eligible piece) and “capture” all the surrounding squares.

Description:

A conversion of the arcade game, Spy Hunter is a driving action game
played from an overhead point of view. Your car is equipped with
machine guns to help you get past the numerous enemies out on the road
(be careful not to shoot any civilians, though!) Occasionally you will
come across a weapons van, and if you drive into the back of the van
your car becomes equipped with a second weapon (such as smoke screen,
oil slick, or missiles.)

Version: Commercial, OCS, PAL, WHD

Description:

This game, based on MAD magazine's agents in Black & White, is a madcap
game in split screen Simulvision which allows each Spy to see what the other
spy is doing. This also allows both players (or one against a computer
opponent) to play simultanously. You travel through a selectable, yet
randomly generated maze of interconnecting rooms. While setting and defusing
booby-traps, engaging in hand-to-hand combat, searching for the Top Secret
briefcase (guess it isn't secret anymore) and looking for the only way out,
you must collect your passport, secret plans, money and the key in order to
escape from the foreign embassy before your plane takes off without you.

Genre: Adventure - Arcade 2D
Lang: English

Version: Commercial, key

Description:

Two spies are in an embassy, and they have to collect four objects before
making their escape in an aeroplane. The objects are all hidden underneath furniture and
ornaments, so a lot of searching is needed - and you'll need to find the briefcase first.
The amusement really begins when you plant booby-traps to catch your enemy unawares, and
steal the objects off him - but try to remember where you planted them, or you may be
caught out! It's got simple graphics and sound effects, but it is so addictive in
the two-player option that you won't be able to resist it.

Year: 1989 Wicked Software
Genre: Strategy - Misc
Lang: English
Disks: 1
Version: Commercial, OCS, PAL, WHD

Description:

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find and recover all
three parts of a top secret XJ4 1/2 missile. Of course, the missile parts are
located on Spy Island, a deserted (except for your opponent and the sharks)
tropical island in the middle of nowhere. Not only must you locate all three
parts of the missile, but you must fully assmble it before being able to
transport it off the island via your submarine. By the way, there is also an
active volcano on the island so you won't have much time.
As you attempt to recover the parts and assemble the missile, your
opponent won't be taking a siesta. After all, your opponent is there for the
same reason you are, and there are only three parts for one missile.
To aid you in your mission, your country, at great expense has provided
you with the ultiate tool in spy technology, the all-in-one, multi-purpose,
super-duper Island Trapulator. It comes complte with a computer-generated
maping system and a few devious items for building nasty little traps that
can surprise your opponent (or yourself if you're not careful). Of course
your opponent is likewise equipped.
