Description:
Silkworm is a classic horizontally-scrolling shoot-em-up based on the 1988
Tecmo arcade game. The main difference between this game and many other

Genre: Shooter - Horrizontal
Lang: English

Version: Commercial, key
Description:
This horizontally scrolling shoot-'em-up is better than most other
offerings. You control a helicopter and you just blast away at the enemy helicopters and
missile bases. On every level, there's a helicopter which has to be hit in the right place,
and then there's the end-of-level helicopter which is very big indeed. There are also
extra firepower and invincibility bonuses to collect. It's colourful with lots of
explosions, and if there's an extra player handy, it's possible to play with a jeep,
although it's not as powerful as the helicopter.

Sim city

Year: 1989 Infogrames
Genre: Simulation - Life
Lang: English
Disks: 1
Version: Commercial, key
Description:
Ahh... it's one of the most famous games ever, and it did appear on the CPC. You
have to build your own city, starting with a power station and then building
residential, commercial and industrial zones, and making the infrastructure of
roads, railways and power lines. You must also make sure your citizens are
happy. There is a limitless number of ways to play this game, and it is great
fun - especially when you initiate a few disasters! The colour scheme isn't the
best but the graphics are excellent all the same, although the beep is
horrible - and it also couldn't save or load cities with some disc drives.

Sim city 2000
Hardware: PC
Visualizza
Titolo originale:SimCity 2000
Year: 1993 Maxis
Genre: Simulation - City Building
Input: key, mouse
Media: 3,5" floppy disk, cdrom
Graphics: SuperVGA, Vesa
Sound: Adlib, Sound Blaster, Pro Audio Spectrum, Roland, PC Speaker, MIDI
Description:
SimCity 2000 is an amazing game, from whichever perspective you choose. City model,
graphics, gameplay. Whichever topic comes to your mind, SimCity 2000
will have it covered brilliantly.
Let us start with the actual game concept. At the beginning, you are given a piece
of land and some cash. Using those two resources, you will have to do
your best to create a small town with the entire necessary
infrastructure so that it can function on its own. Then, as time passes
and you get some money out of taxes, industries and commercial zones,
you will probably decide to expand or increase the quality of life in
the existing city.
As for the graphics, they are simply amazing. The screen resolution will stretch to
amazing 640x480 (this is a DOS game, remember?) that will give you
unseen detail. All the buildings and scenery are drawn very nicely so
you will enjoy just by sitting back and watching your city come to
life. The learning curve is pretty steep so if you're playing it for
the first time, have patience. It will pay off in the end.
