Genre: Adventure - Point & Click
Lang: English
Disks: 10
Version: Commercial, OCS, PAL, WHD
Description:
Rise of the Dragon operates in a living environment where events are
happening all the time, whether you're present or not. When an event of
interest occurs somewhere else in Blade's world, a Meanwhile Screen will
pop up, introducing a sequence that shows what's occurring.
Meanwhile sequences are intended to convey information that heightens the
cinematic experience of the story. It's important to note that these
sequences are not interactive, you can't affect them, and that the
information given in the sequences isn't known to yourgame alter-ego,
Blade Hunter. The fact that Blade isn't knowledgeable of the events
shown in meanwhile sequences is important to remember. It means that
Blade's questions and responses to other characters will only deal with
elements that Blade is aware of.

Description:
Dynamix's first adventure, Rise of The Dragon, is a futuristic game that borrows
some elements from Blade Runner.
The year is 2053. Chandra Vicenzi, a young girl from L.A. who also
happens to be the mayor’s daughter and a drug addict, dies in a
pleasure district of the city. Her body mutates into some form of
lizard, and she is not the only one. For the mayor, this was the last
straw, since it's the election year, and he wants someone to
investigate things with no publicity.
You are William “Blade” Hunter, ex-cop and private investigator. As
a private eye, you are hired to investigate the death of the mayor's
daughter. You will soon find yourself involved in a Chinese Mafia drug
ring, mysterious deaths, and an ancient Chinese prophecy. As an NPC in
the game would say, ”Dooomed, we are all doomed. Bahumat has risen
again!”
The game is great. It has a non-linear plot, many puzzles to be
solved, and multiple endings, so you can play it again and again.
Characters in the game can and will remember your actions and words, so
you must be careful. Also, the game has comic-book style cut scenes
that advance the storyline and excellent arcade sequences.

Lang: English
Disks: 10
Version: Commercial, OCS, PAL
Description:
Rise of the robots is a "new generation" computer game conceived to combine
state-of-the-art programming design and graphics display. "Rise" was created
using the Auto Desk 3-D Studio CAD software package. 3-DS is fundamentally a
rendering package. Objects such as the robots are created by Mirage's artists
in a basic component form, simple geometric shapes such as spheres and
cylinders. Once assembled, the hundreds of shapes form a complete object which
are then coloured and textured: the rendering process.
All objects can be lit and viewed from any angle and while they move under
animation the given attributes of colour and texture appear realistically
highlighted or shadowed under the differing light sources.
The main combat action of the game employs a specially designed artificial
intelligence system by which the computer controlled opponents learn a
player's style of play and then create strategies to meet this.

Year: 1994 Atari
Genre: Action - Fighting
Input: key, joy
Media: 3,5" floppy disk, cdrom
Graphics: SuperVGA, Vesa, VGA

Description:
You are a cyborg handyman in the far away future sent to a huge
megacorporation where an evil AI has taken control of the companies
robots. You are charged with facing these robots in combat and

Gameplay wise this is a standard beat-em-up with gorgeous graphics. It has some
annoying limitations like not being able to jump over your enemy and
only one fire button.

Genre: FPS
Input: key, mouse, joy
Media: cdrom, download
Graphics: VGA
Sound: Adlib, Ensoniq Soundscape, MIDI, Gravis Ultrasound, PC Speaker, Pro Audio Spectrum,
Roland, Sound Blaster, Tandy
description:
Rise of the Triad, a first-person shooter, is the successor of Wolfenstein 3D>,
with a somewhat improved 3D engine. Everything is still composed from
blocks, but multiple vertical levels have been added; there are stairs
made of platforms floating in air, and jump pads which launch you (and
the enemies) high up so that you can walk over tall barriers in your
way.
The game offers a lot of weapons. You begin with a
pistol, but later you can find an extra pistol for John Woo-style
shooting, and a MP40 rifle. All these weapons have unlimited ammo. You
can also find more potent weapons - from classic rocket launcher, to
quite wacky contraptions such as a "drunk missile" launcher or the
"Excalibat", a powerful baseball bat. However, you can carry only one
such a strong weapon at a time, and they have limited ammo.
