a time, which makes the game faster, but amkes long-range passing harder
(perhaps to make the game more like Barnes' own style)

Unlike the first computer versions, this game originated on consoles and focuses
on the action on the field instead of detailed strategy. There is still a
detailed range of moves available, all grouped for quick selection.
Game play modes include regular season, playoffs and sudden death.
The game features 16 regular teams plus one All-Madden team, each with their
own strengths and weaknesses. Play actions include selecting a pass recipient as a
play unfolds, block tackles, dives and sackings. Different weather
conditions come into play when it's wet, snowy or muddy.

Description:
Jones in the Fast Lane is very fresh in concept. It can be called a
life simulation game with a lot of strategic influence.
Basically, you start out as a complete and total bum. You have no
job, no education, and a rented crappy appartment. :) You can choose
from 4 different characters - 2 female and 2 males. You can also choose
if you wish to play against a computer
The game features only a couple of job opportunities, one university
and 2 appartments. You are supposed to eat, wash and get new clothes
every now and then. Failure to do any of those things will result in
loosing time or your job, so be careful!
The graphics are simple, but fine. Same goes for the sound. All in all,
a very interesting and dynamic simulation game that you can regularly
play for years without growing tired of it!

Another excellent game by Hi-Tec based on a popular Hanna-Barbera cartoon
character, Jonny Quest has you in the role of the schoolboy supersleuth
as you roam the fortress of the evil Dr. Zin, rescuing your kidnapped comrades -
your mystic Indian friend Hadji, your dog Bandit, your bodyguard, and finally,
your inventor father. The game itself - a nice blend of platform action and
Dizzy-style puzzles - is fairly big, but also quite linear, so you never
get lost, and little surprises are thrown in along the way, like the enjoyable
scuba-diving section, so you never get bored. The graphics are good and well
animated, while the sound effects are sparse but serviceable. Also, the
difficulty level is perfect; it's a challenging game, but not impossible.
