This is the first part of one of the greatest series in turn-based
games. In Jagged Alliance just as in UFO:Enemy Unknown you get a number
of points per person you choose, which you can use to move, shoot and
so on. Differance here is you hire mercenaries for your hard earned
cash. There are a lot of different personalities and skill levels to
choose from, some of which won't be interested in joining you until
later in the game. It's important to have a balanced team, 8 heavy
shooters might sound as a good idea but if one of them is injured or a
lock needs to be picked you won't have the right members to do a good
job.
In short the island you're on is built up of "mini-maps" or
sectors which contain the precious trees that produce the sap that you
need. This sap is refined only in couple of plants, so you have to take
control of as many of these as the game progresses. The general idea is
to move from one sector to another, engage the guards there, and efter
getting rid of them search through the buildings and bodies to get the
artifacts you need. But watch out, when the enemy attacks your sectors
you need to have guards of your own, which cost money and lower the
cash you have for hiring mercenaries.

XJ-220 concept car would go ahead. A mere 350 units of the four hundred
thousand pound super-car are to be built by a newly formed Jayuar
subsidiary Project XJ-220 Ltd. The car borrows heavily from the XJR-11
race car. uslng the twin-turbo V6 engine as well as many chassis and
suspension components. Its light weight and tremendous
power (over 500 BHP) result in performance to humble the greatest efforts
of Ferrari Lamborghini and Porsche. Despite its light weight the XJ-220
is no spartan racing car full leather interior air-conditioning and
electric windows are all standard features.

Description:
There's been a mass jail-break! Thousands of convicted criminals are armed and
loose on the streets of New York, and the warden has been taken hostage. You
must be one heck of a cop, because you've been sent in alone to rescue him! As
this super-cop, you shoot your way from left to right through six grossly
difficult levels, avoiding enemy bullets, vans and pedestrians. The graphics are
kind of blocky and not very detailed, but they're also bold and colourful, and
there's a very cool little tune on the title screen, accompanied by some nice
digitised speech. Alas, the in-game sound effects are pitiful (there are only
about three effects) and also, the game's difficulty is sky-high, but it doesn't
really matter; it's actually quite addictive and reasonably good fun.

A nefarious supervillain named "Doctor Maybe" (a pun on the name of Dr Julius No,

of the story and player character of the game is an intelligent, mutated anthropomorphic

You control Pond, a fish-like creature, who has to complete several
missions, while making his way through levels full of dangers and
hostile creatures. It is not a typical "jump and run" game: instead of
breezing through large levels, Pond has to complete unique missions for
each game area: free hostages, detonate a structure, find keys, etc. It
is possible to exit a level only after having completed the objective.
Many missions are timed.
