Genre: Arcade - Misc

Description:
Indiana Jones in the Lost Kingdom is an Indiana Jones
game that isn't based on a movie. Indy is looking for a lost
civilization. He has to solve puzzles and traps left behind to get to
the treasure and get out alive.
The entire game consists of only
six screens all of which have monsters and puzzles guarding the exits.
Not only will you have to solve the puzzles but first you must figure
out what the puzzles are because no clues were left behind. The game's
motto is: "Nobody told Indiana Jones the rules. And no one will tell
you."

Description:
The famous Indianapolis 500 Mile race, held annually at the
Indianapolis Motor Speedway on the Memorial Day weekend, is one of the
most famous automobile racing events in North America. The event is
simulated here using 3D polygon graphics to recreate the 33 cars in the
race. Players are able to choose their car and customize it with a
variety of options. Modifications include wing down-force, tire
pressures, wheel stagger (making the right-side wheels larger, to
compensate for the banked corners) and turbo output (which provides
boost, but stresses the engine and uses more fuel).

La famosa corsa delle 500 Miglia di Indianapolis, tenuta ogni anno nell'

del Nord America.
L'evento è simulato usando una grafica poligonale 3D per ricreare le 33 auto
in corsa.

Year: 1989 Electronic Arts
Genre: Racing - Cars
Input: key, joy
Graphics: CGA, EGA, Tandy, MCGA, VGA
Sound: Adlib, PC Speaker, Tandy, Roland
Description:
Indianapolis 500: The Simulation attempts to be a full simulation of the
Indianapolis 500 race, with 33 cars and appropriate Indy car "feel". While racing,
it only offers a first-person perspective, but the game offers a mode as well.
Indy 500 offers the ability to realistically set up the car, and any changes made
to the car directly affect how it handles.
There are also practice and qualifying settings. Practice enables car
setups to be altered and tested in real time. Choosing not to
participate in the qualifying session results in one starting at the
back of the field. The qualifying session requires four laps to be
completed, with the mean value of the four lap times determining the
qualifying position. No car damage can occur during a Practice session,
although other cars may be present on the track and their wreckage
remains on the track if the player's car collides with them at any
point. Car damage can occur during qualifying sessions.

The game was due to be released by Psygnosis in September 1993.
I signed the publishing contract in December 1992, but for some obscure reason,
nearly 6 months later the game was unfortunately trashed soon before its release;
At this point, it was nearly completed.
The story of Indigo is quite simple. You play Jack, a young kid who loves drawing
in a book the adventures of his imaginary friend Indigo. But Indigo gets trapped
for some reason inside the book. It leaves no other choice to Charley but to go
inside his own worlds in the hope of rescuing his friend.
Indigo is a platformer where the objective is to reach the end of each level
within the time limit. To open the exit, you have to find all the keys.
The number of keys left is displayed in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Some of the keys can be found on monsters.

Description:
Danny Sullivan, 1988 IndyCar champion and winner of the classic 'Spin & Win'
Indianapolis 500 in 1985, put his name to this Super Sprint
style racing game. There are 4 cars in each race, 1 or 2 player
options, and 9 tracks to race on, with the Tradewest Speed Bowl the
ultimate target, and is much longer but with double points (it's
essentially a substitute for the licensed-elsewhere Indianapolis 500, which did
pay double the usual level of IndyCar championship points for many years).

Indycar racing
Hardware: PC
Visualizza
Titolo originale:IndyCar Racing
Year: 1993 Virgin Interactive Entertainment
Genre: Racing - Cars
Description:
The simulation offers the ability to race in single events or a full
Championship season (made up of all the tracks installed and available
on the player's computer); to take part in associated practice,
qualifying and warm-up sessions; to set up and customise the car both
on-track and in a dedicated "garage" feature; and to race head-to-head
against another player by connecting two computers, either via modems
running at at least 9600 bit/s or via a null-modem cable attached to the
computers' serial ports.
The simulation uses texture-mapped 3D graphics. As it was released at a time when
not all computers would have been able to display its graphics to the fullest
possible extent while still maintaining a suitably fast and smooth frame rate,
the ability to set AUTOMATIC DETAIL or MANUAL DETAIL, and to change the
frame rate, was included.

Indycar racing 2
Hardware: PC
Visualizza
Titolo originale:IndyCar Racing II
Year: 1996 Sierra On-line
Genre: Racing - Cars
Description:
IndyCar Racing II" simulates the rules that prevailed in 1994. That
includes, no passing under full-course yellow-flag conditions, an
80-mph speed limit in the pits. This pit limit was able to been edited
with the "PIT.LP" file. Changing it with a special editor makes this
file on some tracks having a 50 mph pitroad speed for example. If you
pass any car under yellow and the race goes green you will get the
black flag. You'll have 5 laps time to pit. Another thing that is
punished is the speeding in the pits. You again have just 5 laps time
to serve a "stopandgo". If you don't do you will be diqualified.
This game is based on the 1989 game "Indianapolis 500" and on Papyrus'
1993 "IndyCar Racing". Little is known about the development of the
game, but a demo for the game was released in 1995, and several patches
for the DOS and Windows 95 were created after the game's release to improve it.
This game was able to be run in SVGA (640x480) and had some other changes in
comparison with "IndyCar Racing" like allowing outside cameras pressing the "F10"
key. This was very good on flat courses like the airport Cleveland
track.
