Description:
Hysteria is a fast game that features good graphic and excellent
music. The story is about a cult group who are altering the past to
change the future the way they want. You are sent back in time to fight
an ancient entity that is the source of power of the mentioned cult.
You have to fight the baddies with your laser and convert statue heads
to pieces of jigsaw puzzles by shooting at them. The puzzle pieces in
each level appear as parts of one of the cult members’ head. After all
the pieces are collected, the ancient entity will appear himself to
fight you on that level. After defeating him you advance to the next
level (which is the next era in time).

Description:
The game is based on a collection of short stories by Harlan Ellison. After the
Cold War, the computers of the USA, Russia and China take over the world and
wipe out almost the entire human race. The Allied Mastercomputer (called AM)
holds the last five humans as prisoners to torture them. Any of them has to face
his or her past in a virtual adventure AM has designed for them. There they
encounter their fears and weaknesses.
he game uses the S.A.G.A. game engine created by game developer The Dreamers
Guild. Players participate in each adventure through a screen that is divided
into five sections.

The evil Terry Ball has kidnapped I, Ball's friends - Lover Ball, Eddy Ball, Glo
Ball and No Ball (cool names!) - and I, Ball sets out to rescue them. This is
a vertically scrolling shoot-'em-up, and it's quite tough. In fact it's really
tough, but if you keep trying, you will eventually like it. The flying enemies
that appear on the screen stay stationary for a while, and you should shoot them
before they move! Initially, you can only fire vertically, but collecting the
power discs will give you extra firepower. The time limit is tight as well.
Don't be put off by the Spectrum port graphics, the mediocre music and the
initial difficulty; it's a great game.
