another, the latest being the destruction of the sun. To avert
the total freeze, the few million that were left, fled through
the solar system until they found Firan. Just as they got
settled (about one hundred years later), blips appeared on their
sky-tracker systems and they were under attack. Now, come on!

defense ship, do you? Thought not! And guess who they've got to

This game was originally to be released commercially.
Unfortunately, the company involved with it's release pulled out

Description:
Home Alone is the DOS version of the hit movie. It was made by
Capstone in 1991, and was also developed for the Game Boy. It is much
better than it's sequel game, which came out a few years later.
In this game, you play as Kevin McCallister, who slept in too late,
and was accidentally left behind by his family when they rushed out to
get to the airport in time to catch the plane to Paris. Kevin is home
alone, and there are two crooks named Harry and Marv out to take all
the stuff in the house. You must prevent this. You have exactly an hour
to go around the house, picking up things and setting traps in all
parts of the house in an attempt to scare away the crooks. At the end
of the hour, Harry and Marv will show up, and try to catch Kevin. You
must lead him past the traps and cause the crooks to get caught in
them, so you can escape. The position of the crooks and the traps that
are set in each room are recorded in the screen above the game screen.
If a crook catches you, the game ends.
The graphics in the game are awesome. Every pixel is placed
perfectly, but the animations are really funny looking. The backgrounds
are also very good looking. The music is not good though, and is
somewhat annoying, so you may turn your sound off.

Description:
Home Alone 2 - Lost in New York is the sequel to Home Alone, two
arcade games based on the hit movies of the same name. Home Alone 2 was
made by Capstone in 1992.
Kevin is lost at the airport and accidentally boards a plane for New
York. Two villains from the previous Home Alone game, Harry and Marv,
discover Kevin's whereabouts and decide to get their revenge. In each
of the four levels you guide Kevin as he runs away from Harry and Marv
who are trying to catch him. You avoid the crooks by luring them into
traps along the level. You can also avoid them by using the wide
arsenal owned by Kevin, from punchguns to springs for jumping.

Hi-Tec made tons of games for the CPC based around Hanna Barbera characters,
and while they're all pretty similar, they're all amazing fun too! And Hong
Kong Phooey is no exception. As the kung-fu dog, you must jump around
platforms while staving off the numerous bad guys, with the aim being to track
down some bad guy who has escaped from prison. The graphics are pretty good;
not the best use of colour, but Phooey moves fluidly and the traps and enemies
are well drawn. And the sound effects are good, as they are in all Hi-Tec
games.

This particular interpretation is a side-scrolling action game, in which players
must hack their way past Hook's denizens through 11 levels. These include
forests, icy regions, and towns which Peter will have to jump, climb, and swim
through. Magic items such as apples and pixie dust can be collected for special
powers. When enemies are attacked, they simply put their hands up in surrender
rather than dying, so as to make the game more child-friendly.
