Description:
Doom 2 is definitely a classic shooter. Following on from "Doom",
you play the same character on his return to Earth. Of course,
returning to Earth, instead of a wonderful party and maybe a medal or
two for your heroic efforts you find that somehow the same aliens you
fought on the Mars have now overrun Earth. Utilizing everything in your
arsenal - 9mm, double-barreled shotgun, laser guns, and yes the
infamous chainsaw - you must begin a new battle for Earth.
The gameplay is, again, very good for one of the first shooters.
Hardcore fans of the previous games will thoroughly enjoy this one. The
game also boasts dozens and dozens of levels, able to keep you occupied
for hours of gory fun.

Description:
DOOM 2D is, as the name suggests, a 2D game styled after "DOOM". Most of the graphics
and sounds are ripped straight from the original wads, and used to create a 2D platformer.
The storyline is presumably much the same (and even more sparse), shoot the
hell spawn and save the world.
Gameplay goes much like many other platform shooters, shooting the bad
guys, pushing buttons, collecting the various weapons and powerups.
It's DOOM, but not as we know it.

In this sequel to the original Doom, you play the same hero - the last remaining space marine.
After having single-handedly saved Mars from demonic threat, you return to Earth,
only to find out that the demons have already invaded it, killed all
its inhabitants or turned them into demons. It's your task to kill all
the demons and to save the Earth.
There isn't a Doom or Doom2 versions for Amiga but we can use original WAD for
Doom2 with a various Doom engines porting like Adoom, DoomAttack, Doom-881, PRBoom, etc.
Doom2 WAD on Amiga version require fast processors and i suggest at least 68030 at 50 Mhz and
above.

In the midst of all this, Double Dragon was converted to the C64. A no
brainer, that one - it was the most popular platform at the time, and
games like "Target Renegade" showed that it was technically up to the
task. So we waited, and we waited and.
It was crap. Seriously, it was crap. Well, not all of it. The
Maniacs Of Noise do a characteristically brilliant cover of the
arcade's title tune, and the in-game backdrops look remarkably like the
coin-op originals. The rest is woeful.
Most famously, the graphics glitch - each fighter is split in two
with a gap showing at waist height, giving the amusing impression that
they've all escaped from some mad magician's saw-'em-in-two box.
They've got the sizes all wrong, too, with the fighters being
distractingly too small for their surroundings, and the supposedly
giant characters being smaller than their fellows.
The arcade had loads of moves, each one doing different levels of damage.
This game has one move, which is repeated with different sets of graphics.
And the sluggish controls, lobotomised enemies, rampant bugs and complete
absence of any redeeming features whatsoever finish the job.

Description:
Billy's girlfriend Marian has been kidnapped by a ruthless gang, so he has
to go and save her. As you might have guessed, this is a run-of-the-mill beat-em-'up
consisting of five levels, and it is almost certainly one of, if not the easiest game ever
to come out on the CPC; you should be able to complete it on your first go! The graphics
are pretty neat and very colourful, but the only sound to be heard is when you're punching
bad guys. The game also moves and scrolls extremely slowly, and it's likely that you'll
probably switch off rather than bother to complete it.

It is really frustrating to see yourself standing next to an enemy and no matter
what you are trying, you just cant hit him because he is standing too close or something.
The enemy A.I. is really boring and once you know the right tricks you can beat
almost all the enemies down with the same method of fighting.
