Description:
A group of scientists discovers an asteroid that is on its way to a
collision with the Earth. Is there any way to prevent the disaster?
Boston Low, a NASA veteran, is sent to command a space expedition on
the asteroid. Accompanied by the journalist Maggie Robbins and the
archaeologist Brink, Boston investigates the asteroid and finds a
strange structure that undoubtedly belongs to an alien civilization.
During the course of investigations, the team finds itself on a
seemingly deserted planet. They have no knowledge of the planet and no
possibility of going back. Will they ever discover the secret of this
strange world and find a way to get home?
"Dig" is a point-and-click adventure game with a simple one-cursor interface and
more complex puzzles than usually encountered in LucasArts' adventures.
Despite having a serious story, the game follows in many ways the
tradition of LucasArts' humorous adventures.

...well, not exactly: since you need a genuine CGA card to play the
original DOS game, several VGA remakes were made. Versions including
operating systems DOS, Windows 95-98 and Windows XP. And so, this is Digger Remastered!
You have to control a digging machine in a mine and collect emeralds and
gold while you evade nobbins and hobbins, the minemonsters who are
coming to get you! Your goal is to collect all emeralds in the mine, or
to kill all nobbins or hobbins. When it's done, you go to the next
level, each level becomes harder, of course.
This game has one of the best artificial intelligence we've ever seen!
Here, all the monsters work as a team, and they'll most likely sorround
and get you, or they work together to become hobbins for a larger
chance. It's extremely hard to dodge them.

Diggers is a strategy game where you control five diggers that dig
around the landscape and look for treasure. Its similar to the game
Lemmings. Your little friends are not regular miners, though. There
are four different clans of miners that you can choose from. Every clan
has its weaknesses and strengths. One may have a large amount of
health, but are slow diggers. Another clan may be fast, but are weak in
fighting, and so on.
There are 30+ missions, or levels, that you must complete to finish the game.
