Bruno Vasto, a madman, has stolen the experimental SF-2 stealth fighter
and threatens to blow up Washington D.C.! It's up to you to infiltrate
Vasto's organization and retrieve the fighter to save the world. It's
all in a day's work for David Wolf: Secret Agent.
David Wolf: Secret Agent was an experiment by Dynamix, not only as a self-published
company, but also to merge digitized cinematic cutscenes with bitmap
and 3D animation to create a better "interactive movie". Four 3-D
action simulations are the heart of the game: HangGliding (with a
machine gun mounted to the front), Sportscar driving (with a machine
gun mounted to the front), Fighter Simulation (with a machine gun and a
missle launcher mounted to the front), and Skydiving (no machine gun).
The player follows along with the story for a few minutes, then is
attacked and must outwit his opponents to live.
David Wolf serves as an interesting prequel to the cinematic games "Rise of the Dragon"
and "Heart of China" that Jeff Tunnell and Damon Slye were trying to make.

Ogn pagina è dedicata a un particolare aspetto della guerra aerea e include
una battaglia individuale o una missione normale dove hai la possibilità di
alterare il numero di aerei coinvolti nella missione e spesso sarai in grado
di decidere da quale parte militare volare.
E' presente anche una suite per editare i video dove potete modificare
i video delle tue avventure aeree.
Durante una missione potete iniziare a filmare l'azione e finita la battaglia
potete rivederla come in un replay.

Dawn Patrol is a World War I combat flight simulator
that has you doing certain historical missions. The game acts as a
history book; showing different events of WWI (air related), and also
giving background behind the different aces of the war.
The detail of the setting, and detail in the history is great. You can
learn a bit of WWI just from skimming through the briefings, and the
ace pilot biographies.
The ground look pretty realistic compared to other flight sims.
The detail on the aircrafts are astounding, you can see the
material of the plain and make out everything easily, unlike in other
games where everything is a solid colour (ie: Flight Sim 95). The
internal cockpit is the same as most flight simulators: a high
resolution cockpit replica. The game play is great with accurate flight
controls, and the fun of shooting down airplanes, but sadly, you can't
fully enjoy a flight simulator, especially a combat one, without a
joystick.
Next the bad parts of Dawn Patrol. The one noticeable con of Dawn Patrol
is the sound. The game has a few sounds, including gunfire, engine
drones, and the sounds of bullets flying off the plane. The problem
with this is that the volumes of the sounds are unbalanced, which can
get annoying. Other then that, the game is pretty good overall.

Purple Tentacle, one of the crazy Dr. Fred's creations, drinks
contaminated water from Dr. Fred's Sludge-o-matic. He mutates into an
insane genius and grows arms, and now he's plotting to take over the
world. In an effort to stop him, Dr. Fred sends three friends, Bernard,
Hoagie and Laverne back in time to yesterday, in order for them to turn
off the Sludge-o-matic and stop the sludge from spilling into the
river, thus preventing the whole incident. Naturally, the cheap doctor
uses a fake diamond over a real one in his time machine, which blows up
sending Hoagie 200 years into the past and Laverne 200 years into the
future.
Now you must bring back Hoagie and Laverne, with the
help of the time machine's ability to move objects between time
periods, and then stop evil Purple from taking over the world.
Day of the Tentacle is a point-and-click adventure game and a sequel to Maniac Mansion.
The player controls Bernard, and later also Hoagie and Laverne, being
able to switch between them at any time. By using the commands at the
bottom of the screen, the character can pick up items, use them on
other things, talk to people and more. Any of the three friends can
also send his items across time to another friend.
The game takes place in the same building, but in three different eras, and thus
affecting history takes a vital part in some puzzles. For instance,
Hoagie can hide a bottle of wine in the XVIIIth century, and Laverne
discovers the bottle in the XXIIIth century - but by then, the wine has
already turned into vinegar.
