Announcing AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition, Update 1 AmigaOS 4.1 Final EditionBrussels, December 31, 2016 Hyperion Entertainment is proud to announce the immediate release of AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition Update 1 for all supported systems including PowerPC equipped 68K Amiga machines. Building on the existing AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition platform, Update 1 is the culmination of many man-months of work by our dedicated team of AmigaOS developers, translators and beta testers. It delivers a selection of new features and a host of bug fixes and best of all, it is available as a free digital download, from the restricted download area of the Hyperion Entertainment website and via AmiUpdate, for all registered AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition customers. AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition Update 1 Prerequisites: Operating System: installed AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition** Hardware Compatibility: AmigaOne XE &SE, AmigaOne 500, AmigaOne X1000, Sam440, Sam460, Pegasos 2, Amiga Classic PPC. The AmigaOne X5000 line of computers is already equipped with Update 1 and does therefore not need this update.

So, go to startup-sequence, and change c:bootloader on: C:BootLoader COMMANDLINE="NoRamPager" Reboot, and tada ! Esso corregge molti bugs ed aggiunge alcune migliorie interessanti. Contento Nessun problema di installazione nel Pegasos II; tuttavia sia per chi ha questo bellissimo hardware che per il X1000, poiché è cambiato il "amigaboot.of" bootloader prestate attenzione se avete una situazione ottimizzata lato SmartFirmware con bootcreator (da cui con key press lanciare AmigaOS4.11FEu1, MorphOS3.9, Linux ..etc..), in questo caso infatti l' installer del update1 è fuorviante ... vi chiede dove è residente il file "amigaboot.of" per aggiornarlo, ma nel contempo sottintende che quello sarà anche il SYS: target, quindi per risolvere il problema date sempre SYS: come destinazione e poi prima di riavviare il Pegasos II copiate il file "amigaboot.of" nell' altra partizione di boot ove gestite i file di bootstrap di bootcreator ). Se risulta incomprensibile quello che ho scritto, non preoccupatevi, non avete avuto ancora il piacere di usare bootcreator con il Pegasos II e ciò è deciamente male Segnalo sempre per gli utenti del Pegasos II altre due piccole migliorie specifiche per questo hardware; corretto un problema con time/orologio (verificato, ora è OK) ed è ora possibile utilizzare la porta seriale correttamente. Verificato inoltre il funzionamento con Envoy3.1 ed è OK come in precedenza. Probabilmente il nuovo update non è stato creato recentemente o non è stato controllato in maniera dettagliata, quello che è importante che non sovrascriva le nuove presenti sul sistema.
